SPIRIT LIFE COURSE   In September, John Basson will be starting a course called "Spirit Life" which will involve teaching on the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer.  The course will handle various aspects of the Christian life - the Holy Spirit and salvation, the Holy Spirit and evangelism, the Holy Spirit and holiness, the Holy Spirit and miracles, the Holy Spirit and the voice of God and the Holy Spirit and assurance, the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts to name a few.

To enable as many people to attend, the plan is to run the course both during the week as well as a Sunday evenings.  Each session will involve some teaching, a discussion time as well as ministry and prayer for people.   The mid week sessions will probably happen in my home (unless too many people attend) and Sunday evenings at St Mary's Community Centre, depending on numbers. I am keen to see as many people as possible doing the training so that, as a church, we can all journey together in Spirit Life.   Please indicate your willingness to attend either on Sundays or on a week night so that we can book St Mary's on Sundays if we need to.  (Approximate times are shown as a guide only).  You are invited to bring friends, but they need to sign up, so I have some idea of numbers.  Each person will be provided with notes at each session so you can go through the material more than once.   I am putting the advert out earlier rather than later so that you have time to invite friends and plan your schedule around this commitment.   Kind regards, John Basson

Reminder of Congregational Meeting
this Sunday, 19th November 2023

Dear Friends,
I remind you that this Sunday, 19th November we will be sharing the Vision of the church for the next twelve to eighteen months.  In many senses, this is the outworking of the series we have been going through in the book of Acts.  Our prayer is that everyone will be part of what is God is doing at ICC in the months that lie ahead.

This is a reminder for the Congregational Meeting scheduled for Sunday, 19th November 2023 after the Vision & Congregational Meeting service.  According to our Bylaws, every year we propose the budget for the following year.  We urge you to stay for the meeting after the service, as this is a significant event in the life of our church.

All regular attenders are encouraged to participate in these meetings.  All Members and Associate Members are also able to vote.  If you are eligible to vote but unable to attend the meeting, ensure you submit your ballot by midnight on Monday, 20th November 2023.

Dear ICC Family,
We will take time to give thanks to the Lord for His provision and blessings throughout this year, and will follow the service on Sunday 26th November with a meal, so we invite to you stay afterwards.
