5:00pm-6:15pm Byfleet Methodist Church Rectory Lane, Byfleet, Surrey KT14 7LL Dear ICC Parents, We will be holding another special event for your Adventure Kids again this year on Sunday 30th October 2022 at 5.00 pm for some God-focused fun celebration for our kids at this season. We encourage you to sign up your child (age between 4 and 11 years old) and invite their friends too! There will be a disco, dancing, special games, snacks and drinks. Children are invited to dress up in anything sparkly, neon or bright colours. All are welcome. Please let us know how many children will be attending so that we make sure we have enough for everyone, by signing the green link below with your information. We look forward to seeing the children then. 9:30am-11:30am St Mary's Art Cafe St Mary's Community Centre, Stream Close, West Byfleet KT14 7LZ Dear all ICC Ladies and friends, We have a Special Event coming up and thought you'd like to participate in a Festive Wreath Workshop to make a garland for your front door. Why not invite a friend to come along with you. Just sign up below and add the name of the person attending with you. It will be held opposite Byfleet Methodist Church at the location below: on: Saturday 19th November 2022 at: 9.30 am till 11.30 am new location: The Art Cafe at St Mary's Community Centre Stream Close West Byfleet Surrey KT14 7LZ There will be a £35 cost per person to this event which will cover most the materials you need to create a stunning wreath, but we encourage you to supplement this with greenery from your own garden or items you have foraged locally so the wreaths don't all look the same e.g. We recommend the following… holly, ivy (with berries), rosemary, bay, conifer, lambs ear, eurogenus and eucalyptus. Fir cones and other festive decorations welcome. Basically woody shrubs. (Please note: holly and ivy berries are fine, but stay away from others as some are poisonous). Please also bring kitchen scissors. Refreshments will also be available which you can purchase at The Art Cafe. Please make arrangements to pay £35 per person in advance, before 12th November 2022. 11:00am-12:00pm St Paul's Cathedral St Paul's Cathedral, St. Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD Hello Church, One of our great annual traditions is the Thanksgiving Worship Service at St Paul's Cathedral in London - a joint effort between our church, the American Church in London, and St Paul's. The service starts at 11am on Thursday, 24 Nov. Doors open at 10, and there will be a queue for security. This year, John Reid and I both have speaking roles. Two of our young people will also be reading prayers. We will also hear remarks from the new US ambassador, the honourable Jane Hartley. Would you like to join us? We are able to reserve seats for you near the front, under the dome. We would also like to contribute 5 -10 people to join in the choir. It is led by the wonderful choir director from the American Church, Scott Strohman. There are practices on the 16th and 23rd of November. If you like to sing, this is an amazing opportunity to join the choir and sing in the cathedral. Please do reply to let us know if you would like to attend (even if you perhaps cannot commit quite yet) or if you would like to sing in the choir. Rick will be moving to serve a group of churches in the US, and so we want to send the family off with a special final service followed by a selection of pizzas and cake afterwards - great for all ages! So join us for this special MORNING service on Sunday 27th November 2022 at our new location at: NEW Start time: 10.00 am End time: approx. 2.00 pm. At: St Mary's Community Centre Stream Close West Byfleet Surrey KT14 7ZL Plenty of free parking nearby at Byfleet Village Hall, 54 High Rd, Byfleet, West Byfleet KT14 7QL and you may also find some spaces at West Byfleet Recreation Ground car park in Stream Close KT14 7ZL.
