Notice of Congregational Meeting
on Sunday 4 June 2023

Dear Friends,

As the newest member of the pastoral team, this will be my first Congregational meeting since starting at ICC.  I am looking forward to us serving the Lord together.  One of the ways we are able to participate in the life of the church is by attending the meetings we have.

This is a notice for the Congregational Meeting scheduled for Sunday, 4 June 2023 after the worship service, which will be on Zoom for those who are unable to join us in person.  According to our Bylaws, every year we propose and elect members to our Church Council.  I urge you to stay for the meeting after the service, as this is a significant event in the life of our church.

The resolution being proposed puts forward the names of church members standing for election to Council.  Attached is a brief biography for each candidate.  The first term on council is two years; subsequent terms are one year.  There are no term limits.  It is an honour to commend to you these individuals - people of integrity and ability who deeply love God and his people.  Each give of their time, resources and serve our church in a leadership capacity that is both practical and spiritual. 

All regular attenders are encouraged to participate in these meetings.  All Members and Associate Members are also able to vote.  If you are eligible to vote but unable to attend the meeting, ensure you submit your ballot by midnight on Monday, 5th June 2023.  Thank you for your continued support and participation in this and all other matters of our church life together.  I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

If you are unable to attend on Sunday 4th June 2023, please submit your ballot before the deadline of midnight on Monday 5th June 2023.
