Age 3 until age 11 years
At ICC we invite all children age 3-11 years to participate in our ‘Adventure Kids’ ministry where they are on an adventure learning and growing in their Christian faith- on Sundays the children participate in the first part of the main service for a time of worship together (songs). We also have a special activity trolley if they would prefer to colour or sketch during this time. Then we break away for our own time together! The focus is on learning about God, the Bible, spending time in worship and having fun together.
Once the service ends we provide some ‘table games’ so the children can continue building friendships at church under their parents supervision, whilst parents enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some time to chat.
Kids are invited to join our Adventure Kids Friday Club from year R. We meet fortnightly at the church – this is open to all children and their friends. Each term runs with a different them and involves fun, games, activities and a Bible message.
In October we run our very popular annual ‘Light Party‘ with music, dancing and share the message of Jesus being the ‘Light of the World’ and in the Summer school break we run a fun kids holiday club over a few days.
Under 3’s
Our services are family-friendly so please feel free to keep your little one with you if you prefer. We also have a lovely break away room to support little one’s and their trusted caregivers by providing space for them to enjoy playing while their caregiver can still hear the preach via an audio feed. We also have a baby change facility available.
Teenagers/Youth/High schoolers Ages 11-19
Our hope is that Journey Youth will provide our youth with faith, and equip them for the unique challenges that are faced in their communities today whilst building strong friendships with other Christian youth and inspiring them to grow in their personal walks with God and in the gifts he has given them.
Join us every Sunday, we join with the whole church for worship and then enjoy our own break away group in the cafe.
Youth Life Group- Thursdays fortnightly
On Thursday evenings we meet at 7.30pm for Youth Life Group.
Youth on Fridays
On Friday evenings fortnightly we meet at 7.30pm (Many of our youth volunteer at the kids club which runs just before Youth) then the youth stay on for their own Youth Hang out- food, friends, fun and a short message.
Annual Youth Events
We run a Bonfire Night in November and each year we invite youth to join us to attend New Day, which is a large Christian Youth Festival that happens in Norfolk over a week in the early summer.
